a toxic melody

Can you hear the lady calling
Her voice is sweet as honeyed wine
She calls to you
Walk into the woods to find her
Though it is dark
you will not regret it

She knows you still think of her
Think of burying your face in her hair
Locks of spun gold
starlight amber pale
She will be your everything again

She knows you still yearn for the scent of her
creamy white skin
Breathing her deeply
Inhale and absorb
Intoxicating shivering numbing abyss rapture

She knows you still crave the taste of her nectar
Feel her coursing through your blood
She plays your viens like harp strings
A toxic melody thrumming humming

She knows you still desire her fruit
Always ripe
Always sweet
So good it tastes like sin
She still holds it out for you
Slender bone fingers
Waiting for you to take a bite

She knows you still miss her
Although she never truly left you
She is your dark passenger
Always in the back seat
Ready to reach out and take the wheel
Help you drive
Your eyes are getting sleepy
Your hands are getting weary
You have been driving alone for so long
The woods are dark and thick around you
Close your eyes
Let your teeth sink in
And allow the lady to drive once again

  1. Oh wow, I’m glad I wasn’t driving, yes, your intoxicating words entranced me,
“You have been driving alone for so long
The woods are dark and thick around you
    Close your eyes
    Let your teeth sink in
And allow the lady to drive once again”
