the octopus and the raven

She, otherworldly glittering wetness
He of swirling ink and feathers and wind

Hers eyes chameleon mood ring changing
His Storm clouds deepening lightning blue crackle

They breathe in one another salted Sea Spray ozone breeze

Swift through water and air, Gods are they

The touch of her blade slicing quick you won’t feel a thing
His spear though, electricity burning sizzled trauma

They carry the weight of good and evil on their shoulders the memory of blood on their hands but love lightens the burden

So, on the sail pirates, are they
