bloggity blog, poetry

softness you feel

Walls high

Surrounded

I cannot see above them

to know where I am going

oh, how you’ve turned my world

you precious thing

Corners and corridors

I follow your silken threads

Darkness and light

Shadows are where life dwells

And I keep moving

Towards arms

Outstretched?

Will they catch me when I fall?

I am already falling

But your oubliette feels warm and safe

Warm like skin

Safe like hands

Making a home for you in my mouth

And my home will be that place between your shoulder and your chest

Hardness within softness

you feel close

But far

From spent

Again and Again

*throws you socks with lemons on them*

You can keep me, but please dont me wet, keep me out of bright light, and don’t feed me after midnight!

      1. I am sorry you were having a bad day. That was the point of the post, for people having a bad day. I just wanted to make someone smile. Did you try the laughing without smiling thing? That shit is funny.
Your apology is accepted. And you are very capable at the happy free verse. Thank you for sharing.
