Shallow soil burn

Some people simply want to leave a mark in this world… even if it means hurting a living thing… carving your name into my skin claiming me for your own… I am the tree you are so quick to forget… my skin your canvas… did I not bleed enough for you? Where my roots not deep enough in your soil? Your only aim, to chop me down and use me to start your fire… well, I hope you feel warm at night.

  1. Good god, I loved this. Not sure I’ve ever felt such a tug at my gut, trying to reach out and grab you, in such a beautifully short piece. It’s a gift being able to deftly place all your emotions in one gorgeous paragraph of emotion.
If you feel bloody today, let it bleed. It helps. By tkyu know that. I’m a little firefly fluttering around your bright , flaming, phoenix wings

      1. Oh my god….now I’m all lumpy in my throaty…

I literally could NOT agree with you more. I needed a “you” in my life and I found you. And if I can in any wayake you feel even a smidge of the same beautiful sentiment, I am happy.

Everything i write to you, and everything we share…is an utter, pure pleasure.
