bloggity blog, Prompts Project

the. project. TAKE TWO

So, when I started this blog, my plan was not just to bleed shitty poetry and spout rando haikus. The original plan was to do prompts. I would make up my own. I would make art, fiction, poetry, non-fiction, paper mache, snot sculptures, whatever. I was also hoping that one day, peeps may join me in the fight against lemonade.

Anyway, because I have fallen out of my blogosphere recently, I am reinstating the prompts for a while. I have been putting so much effort into my novel and my life that I just haven’t had anything left once I get here…

So, here goes nothing. Feel free to join me, or just eat popcorn from the sidelines and watch me make terrible things.

Next week’s prompt is SPACE.

Interpret that how you wish. Make what ever you want. If it is fiction, keep in mind that I am a slow reader. So, keep the word count to a normal blog post… I will try to keep my short story to 1000 words.

Next week will be space themed. So there will be (if everything goes to plan) space art, non-fiction, a short story, poetry and then the new prompt on Friday…

  1. This reminded me of the desperation that surfaced in the lives of all three of us-Penny, our son and me, in the 2000’s, for some reason.. I am still in the process of making sense of all that went wrong. My Space entry may have something to do with that, but I won’t know until I actually sit down and crank it out.

Space does not necessarily mean “outer” …
And this is about desperation. Desperation to live, to survive, to thrive, to create, to learn…
I am sorry you have been through such things…
Thank you so much for stopping by, dearest. Your presence always brings a smile to my face.
