The saddest fear

I know this is a Taylor Swift song but I like this version better…

I especially LOVE screaming it in the car with my sons.

No fucking prizes as to why this song hits home, but I just reallylove this version because my heart is made of grunge, punk and rock… so… yeah…

Once upon time
A few mistakes ago
I was in your sights
You got me alone
You found me
You found me
You found me-e-e-e-e-eI guess you didn’t care
And I guess I liked that
And when I fell hard
You took a step back
Without me, without me, without me-e-e-e-e-e

And she’s long gone
When she’s next to me
And I realize the blame is on me

‘Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Till you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble

No apologies
She’ll never see you cry
Pretend she doesn’t know
That she’s the reason why
You’re drowning, you’re drowning, you’re drowning-g-g-g-g

And I heard you moved on
From whispers on the street
A new notch in your belt
Is all I’ll ever be
And now I see, now I see, now I see-e-e-e-e-e
She was long gone
When she met me
And I realize the joke is on me, yeah

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Till you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble

And the saddest fear comes creeping in
That you never loved me
Or him or anyone or anything
Yeah

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Till you put me down, oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
So shame on me now
I flew me to places I’d never been
Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble
Oh, oh
Trouble, trouble, trouble

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
Trouble, trouble, trouble

I just wanna say a big shout out to the most gorgeous person on WP, my Melon Princess, The Goddess of words… Mel Gutiér … for teaching me how to embed a video lol…

      1. Had another day at the beach, feeling invigorated, I’ve got an online date at 11.00pm, with a fellow blog/friend, she’s lives in KL, We’re going to have a Shiraz together …… Hmmm, punk and metal, I’ll be selective,

  1. The saddest fear–which means he was heartless. This is not so much about me feeling that I was deluded about his love for me but that he’s a lost soul. May God and buddhas of compassion have mercy on him. You chose an apt song to embed in your first post with video. Cheers guys 🙂

      1. Hahaha…lol…angels and demons are merely perspectives…within a day I hear people calling me both 😀 But you’re certainly an angel to me that’s for sure. Very sweet Amberly 🙂

  2. The one guitarist’s… face… haha… he looks like he is thinking… you know I can do solos right?… these fucking guys… you know I can play Master of Puppets???… I’ve been playing the guitar for 12 hours a day… 7 days a week… since I was 12… strum… strum… get the camera out of my face…

I’m not a Taylor Swift fan at all… but this was watchable…

      1. I can barely play a power chord… I can rock a bass and some drums though… well young me… haven’t played in a long time… I like covers done differently than the originals… It highlights how good the writing actually is… most of the time…

I like this cover… because it is so different… not saying it is better than your cover… only an example…

I can’t play any instruments… not for lack of wanting… butbyou need instruments to be able to play them.lol
Yes… I don’t want to hear a cover done exactly the same way. I will have to watch the clip later when I can go on my comp

      3. I always had the issue that I couldn’t or didn’t want to play what someone else wrote… I also don’t really understand how to write a song… how it comes together and makes a whole… barely know how to do it with writing… okay… I’m not even sure I know how to do it with writing… : )
