Hour glass fragile

Strings pulled tight, tighter
Waist cinched
Now but a handful

My hourglass has just been flipped
My timepiece body is wrapped and ready

But make no mistake

Although I may be wrapped up, like a present, bows neatly fluttering down my spine

I do not wear this for you

Although my body may appear strapped, tied up in bondage

My body is not your prisoner

Although you may find your eyes cannot help but wander over my curves like ants over candy
Know this

I am not your painting to stare at

And if I am art
Then I am fine, like the bones that coax my torso into this shape

I do not wear this for you

Spine straight as an arrow
I walk taller

Firm flesh
I touch, myself

The delicious breathlessness
Tightness, rightness

I do not wear this for you

I follow my new outline
Waves and crests
Waist and breasts

I do not wear this for you

If you ask politely

If you promise to play nicely

I’ll let you flip my hourglass over
And you will see how long my timepiece body can go for…

I was looking for a muffin emoji but there isn’t one! No cupcake either! And Wardy Sushi doesn’t have the same ring… maybe you can be a fruit too. Wardy berry…🍓 Wardy banana…🍌 😕
        Wardy peach…🍑
        Wardy avocado🥑
        Nope… no emoji for you

      2. Is it okay? Damn it!!! You go look in the mirror and smile… then lick your lips… hands on hips… say “I’m a powerhouse woman… full of fire, life, love, art, passion… I am beautiful and talented… raw and edgy… lovely… sweet…” You can add more to that. You know yourself better than anyone.

But my darlin! This was a wonderful piece… powerful and tender. Just like you!

      1. Run… just run… and feel the love. You got it! I hate to cry but I do all the time too. Love is a strong thing… tears help us survive its power. You’ll be fine. But… just don’t explode. That’s no fun to clean up. 😉

  1. Beautiful and dripping with sweet, luscious talent and engulfed in a universe of sensually familiar moves and words that reached out and grabbed my butterflies. So in this ocean of emotion and praise of love you’re receiving and truly deserving i hope you can see my small hand waving at you in anticipating embraces

      3. Nice… I noticed the Greek in your poems…
My father is Italian & Greek… so I guess I have some in me too. I don’t know the Greek details though cause it was his father’s side… and… well… some fathers… anywho

It is good! It adds spice!

Yeah… the name thing is a serious problem. It actually eats at me if my brain doesn’t make a nickname for you… it’s so frustrating. But I can’t help it so I just own it. I’ll probably call you heaps of things. All nice, I assure you. Ward cops the blunt of it! 🤣🤣🤣 poor wittle Wardy Muffins

I had a rather swoogly surname before marriage but now my married name is lovely but easily pronounced 😉
